Hint of fruit, apricot in the aroma. Cloudy yellow, White rough foam that lasts for a short time Fruity flawour, apricot, a mild bitterness in the end, that lasts somewhat. Body medium high in carbon. Overall a OK beer
On tap at The Faktory, Reykjavik. Pours a hazy light brown with a tiny head. Sweet with aromas of light malts, banana and hints of yeast. Medium bodied, Soft carbonation. Dry banana finish. reyman (5) - - JUN 29, 2012 does not count
From a bottle, sour for a weissbier minimal head, overall a smooth and tasty beer. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 26, 2012
Tap @ Enski Barinn Reykjavik. Ok, this is a wheat beer but not anything like a hefeweizen. More like a belgian strong ale. Somewhat hazy reddish orange appearance with a cream head. Very spicy, orange citrusy, nutmeg (?), clove aroma. Rich blood orange, overripe citrusy, bitter orange, a bit boozy flavor. A little hard to drink and not super refreshing. I was disappointed. haukur (2079) - Kópavogur, ICELAND - JUN 2, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2014 massive aroma of clove and bananas, some light spices. Very cloudy, dark orange colour, decent head. Very tasty, some yeast, again bananas, a small bite of bitterness. This is exceptional, and on par with the best in bavaria. BRAVO!
