COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From a bottle, sour for a weissbier minimal head, overall a smooth and tasty beer.

Tap @ Enski Barinn Reykjavik. Ok, this is a wheat beer but not anything like a hefeweizen. More like a belgian strong ale. Somewhat hazy reddish orange appearance with a cream head. Very spicy, orange citrusy, nutmeg (?), clove aroma. Rich blood orange, overripe citrusy, bitter orange, a bit boozy flavor. A little hard to drink and not super refreshing. I was disappointed.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2014 massive aroma of clove and bananas, some light spices. Very cloudy, dark orange colour, decent head. Very tasty, some yeast, again bananas, a small bite of bitterness. This is exceptional, and on par with the best in bavaria. BRAVO!
