Clear golden, white head. Faint tripel aroma: fruity, sweet, banana. Medium-full body, a bit too sweet. A bit of corn in the flavor, besides the nose profile. Not bad.

bonkiedeaap (740) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2017
Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel Belgium. The beer is yellow to blond colored and has a large and stable white head with good carbonation. The aroma is malty and fruity, with herbs and spices. Further earthy and some annoying esthers and a hint of alcohol. The taste is full bodied maltiness and sweetness with citrus and a light bitterness with yeast, spices and a little alcohol. The finish is light bitter with warming alcohol. Good but not brilliantly balanced.

Bottle from Lidl. Smells turpsy. Taste is unbridled sharp apple and tramp fuel. Finish is tiring fabric, rotting label and browning water bucket in backyard, below English washing line. Not very good.

seynie (402) - Tienen, BELGIUM - APR 27, 2017
Massive banana in the nose, good foam top. Clear gold. Taste is not so fruity. Sharp dry wood, some white sugar, a lot of dough. A bit sweeter into the finish, but also some licorice there, going into dry leaves. A bit off

Poured from bottle into tulip. Pours a medium gold with thick long lasting white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is typical tripel, but a little subdued compared to other tripels out there - its certainly well balanced and because I had a whole pile of tempranillo last night with my paella, trying this with the leftovers tonight and its damn good together. Go go belgium beer and spanish paella... who knew!?!?

Bottle.Blonde with a big head. Lively upon opening.Slightly sweet with a clear appearance.Easy to drink considering its strength. But is this because is it is rather unassuming?

33 cl bottle @ home. Clear golden colour, big and lasting, foamy head. Vivid carbonation, very nice appearance. Sweet, fruity aroma with herbs and spices with malty tones. Mild bitter taste mixed with fruity sweetness. Lacks the creamy body of a Karmeliet, but good for the rest.
