BVery (11364) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - MAR 24, 2015
Tap at the Old Fashioned. Mostly clear light gold pour. Fruity nose and taste of apple, pomegranate, and honey. Nice.

Nuffield (4201) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 25, 2014
A treat to see this on tap at a bar. Exciting first sip--white wine dominates but with a layer of complexity that is more fruity, suggesting a touch of cherry and a touch of mosquito repellant (a very light chemical note). I eat pomegranates all the time and I’m still not sure what they taste like. Very light color. Interesting, reasonably enjoyable. (on tap, The Old Fashioned, Madison, WI)

3.6
esjaygee (3906) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 2, 2013
On tap at Old Fashioned. Murky pale yellow sans head. Aroma of pomegranate, apple, honey and spices. Taste of honey, pomegranate, alcohol with a mild dry and tart finish.

3.6
bartlebier (4123) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - OCT 9, 2013
Draught sample, 23/viii/13 Sugar Maple, Milwaukee. First US mead from the heart of green heartland WI. Apple and white grape sweet like in an aged cider, with a very subtle pepper kick. Smooth, surprisingly non-sticky sipping.

3.4
GhostFace (477) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 7, 2013
sampled at GTMW 2013 - pale gold pour with a slight red tint to it. light carbonation. sweet honey, pomegranate and white grape aromas on the nose. pomegranate dominates the flavor but not intense, honey and sweet grape flavors shine through as well.

3.4
Bacterial (3054) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - AUG 20, 2013
My third from Bos and easily the best so far. Pour from a clear bottle. Light golden color, some carbonation though the head goes away after just a few seconds. Nose is mostly grape, as is the taste. Its a subtle mead. Very wine-like, which is probably the crowd Bos is going for here...

3.5
phaleslu (10673) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Draft from The Old Fashioned in Madison, served in a goblet. My wife forgot I ordered this and that she tried some and thought it was just okay, so she got it again at GTMW. Pours a clear white wine color with no head. Notes of honey, pomegranate, honeysuckle and other wildflowers, grape, and straw. Medium-bodied, with a vinous mouthfeel and no carbonation. Good mead that drinks like a white wine.

3.6
Iphonephan (7287) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JUN 24, 2013
