COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aroma hops: Hallertauer Perle, Hallertauer Tradition

Kalea Advent Calendar. Vague malty aroma. Black. Thin beige head. Light bitter core but over this there's a sweetness - burmt sugar and boiled sweets. A return to bitterness in the coffee finish Medium bodied. Slick. A fizz of carb. Long but low key finish. I find it really drinkable.

A nice malty smell of roasted malt, some chocolate. The beige creamy head has a normal size and duration. The body is black. A light malty taste, some roasted malt and coffee. The body is light and creamy with a lively carbonation.

Pours clear dark red-brown. Low beige head that disappears quickly. Very promising malt aroma. At first, malty flavors and a hint of licorice. Then, rather watery, with a very slight hoppy palate. Low carbonation.

No detail information about the malts, hops and drinktemperature. Black beer with short light brown head, smell is roasty, taste is roasty, thin texture, light body, boring, (I have 0.33l bottle with best-before 12.01.18 G)

Bottle. Color: Very dark brown, light brown head. Taste: Roasted malta, toast, smooth, watery. Very little bitterness. Below medium carbonation and body. Not bad, but there are many much better porters.

From a Christmas mixed case. Pours with a thick head and is deep dark brown. Light malty smell. Sweet with very little hops or bitterness. Chocolate malts. Ok porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Röstmalziger Antrunk, leicht wässrig säuerlicher Körper mit feinen Schokonoten. Im Abgang kommt eine harmonische Hopfenbittere durch (Hallertauer Perle, Hallertauer Tradition).

Bov (13354) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 14, 2017
courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - dark brown beer with a moderate foam left; notes of chocolate and brushwood; moderate carbonation, a good malt backbone and quite tasty, light sweet; aftertaste of licorice ad chocolate; shyly toasted
