COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
4-Time Real Ale Festival Medal Winner
During the 1800’s, when the sun never set on the British Empire, beer being shipped to the Far East always arrived spoiled. To correct this situation, British brewers added large quantities of hops to their pale ales. (Hops act as a natural preservative.) The result is an intensely hoppy amber beer. Delicious with seafood and all spicy flavorful foods.

oobawa (1484) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 23, 2017
Classic old-school IPA, floral hop bitterness balancing a caramel sweetness. Finishes dry and perfume-ish. Decent.

Foxbush (2038) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - AUG 27, 2016
Draft at boscos in Memphis. The ale poured a clear Amber color with lacing and a modest head. Nice floral hops are detected with pale malts. The taste was more complex with tangerine rind and tropical fruits. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation. The ale finished cleanly with some lingering rind bitterness.

Keg @ Boscos, LR. Orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of concentrated orange peel and cantaloupe. Flavors are lightly bitter, sweet caramel. Some earthy tree bark. Light carb, soft body. Boring, but inoffensive.

fiveacestx (970) - Texas, USA - JAN 12, 2014
On tap at Bosco’s - rust colored with a thin head and lacing. Earthy hop taste with a malty backbone. Thin finish. I was hoping for something higher than 59 IBUs at this place but it was hoppy enough.

onceblind (9856) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 29, 2013
Hazy gold with a thin cap of white head. The nose is very hoppy with leafy and grassy bitterness and a touch of grapefruitiness. Tastes pretty bitter at the start but calms down to a less bitter grapefruit/pale grain maltiness, ends kinda dry with a grassy after-bitterness
