Draft in a sampler at Boscos Squared in Memphis. Labeled "Winter Warmer" but it’s this one, not the retired one. Pours a clear copper-hued golden color with a small eggshell white head. Aroma of toffee and bready malts, grass, and dried fruits. The flavor is equally sweet and malty, with caramel, crackery, and toasty malts, woodsy, grassy notes, and some warming alcohol. Don’t know what the booze was in this but it had a warm punch, especially late. Medium-full bodied, with a sweet, warming mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Not my thing. Light amber color, no lacing. Aroma is light- little bit o honey. Flavor is malt at first, then empty alcohol fumes. this is not subtle, or warming. It’s a hot mess. drowland (8880) - Georgia, USA - DEC 28, 2010
12/26/10. On tap at the Nashville location. Clear golden orange pour with a small white head. Faint citrus aroma with not much else going on. Spicy orange flavor that is extremely light for a winter warmer, but not terrible. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 26, 2010
I had this on tap at the Franklin location where it was being called Winter Warmer, but it was clearly not the same WW of the other listing, I see that this same "golden English winter warmer" was being sold as Bring on Spring in Memphis so I’ll put it here to differentiate. Clear orange-yellow, white foam. Toasty grassy aroma. Taste is caramel, sweet, bready, grassy finish. jzzbassman (1638) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 23, 2010
On tap. Brewer calls this a golden winter warmer, and it does pour pale gold with a nice foamy head that disappears quickly. Fuggles I believe are the star of this and make this very English. Malty flavor, with enough light bitterness to keep you coming back for more sips.

Draft at the Little Rock location. Clear, gold, filtered. Very cold. Not much aroma because of the cold temp. Malty, German yeasty, very thin which kills the beer. Not much alcoholic bite for a winter warmer. Very disappointing. jcwattsrugger (12507) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - FEB 25, 2010
on tap-pours an off white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is mild light/medium malt, citrus. Taste is sweet medium malt-bready, citrus-orange. decaturstevo (6339) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - FEB 22, 2010
Deep gold pour with frothy white head and lace. Light citrus hops. Sweet malt herbal hoppiness, light/medium bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation.
