Draft sampler pours black with a off white head. Aroma of malts and coffee. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate and coffee.
On tap at Boscos Brewpub in Memphis. Pours a dark brown, almost black color. Tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, burnt smell. Taste has similar qualities: roasted malt primarily, slight coffee. This is a good porter.

on tap-pours a tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is dark malt-roasty, earthy. Taste is dark malt-roasty/cocoa, secondary earthy.

On draft at the hillsboro brewery. Clear brown pour with light mahogany highlights and small tan head. Nose of sweet fruit and toasted toffee malts. Flavor is lactic. Draft at Boscos Nashville . Pours a translucent brown with a creamy khaki head. Aroma is of chocolate and dark roasted malt, with some mild nuttiness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of burnt malts and bitter unsweetened chocolate, countered by an aggressive dry bitterness. Perhaps a little smoke mid palate. This could use a little more sweetness, and was a little too dry for my tastes. A-7 A-4 F-7 P-3 O-13
