The Spicy character of the rye malt is a perfect complement to the sweet, aromatic taste of the honey.

(On tap) Memphis. Pale amber with a small, off-white head. Distinct, soft honey aroma. Rather light body with mellow accents of malt and a vague underlying sweetness. A very smooth and accessible beer with a subdued bitterness. 280306

Hazy straw body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, light honey. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, honey. Watery light body. Very mellow beer, with little in the way of distinguishing characteristics, but nevertheless would make a decent session beer based on its drinkability.

Bottle conditioned 22-oz bomber at Boscos Nashville. Pours hazy and murky orange with yellow hints and a miniscule white head. Floral hop aroma with a honey-wheat nose, some floating rye as well. Sweet rye and wheat flavor with a honey and citrus hop bite. Medium bodied and creamy, spicy palate.

Keg @ Boscos, LR. Gold pour with a small head. HUGE popcorn butter nose. God damn do these guys excel at fucking up their beer. Taste isn’t worth mention. Honey and butter for days. Fuck these guys for duping people into paying for this garbage.

Very light colored - maybe like pear juice. No head. Definate honey aroma, but not much rye. Clean and crisp, with some very tasty pear and apple note mixed with the honey flavors. Some of the rye becomes apparent in the finish. Very refreshing.

Tasted on tap at Nashville Brewpub. This rye ale pours a light orange color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, some honey and some spiciness. A light to medium bodied ale. Malts are fruit and sweet. Hops are mild and slightly bitter. Crisp and clean. Very light tasting, Very smooth tasting. Some honey flavors, not very sweet and a touch of rye spiciness. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

heemer77 (5361) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - MAY 25, 2006
The body was hazy light gold with no head. The aroma was honey with flowers and soem cherries. There was some iced tea taste with caramel. The taste is a little light for me.
