COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tennessee’s Original Pub Brewed Beer! This was the first beer Boscos brewed when we opened Tennessee’s Original Brew Pub in 1992. Light and refreshing, the delicate malt body of this beer is balanced by the crisp flavor of Crystal hops (O.G. 1.042, I.B.U. 14).

Straightforward cream ale, corn sweetness on top of a Euro-hop funkiness. Easy to drink, easy to forget.

Pours deep golden clear with medium head and small lacing. Cereal and bread malt. German tasting. Thin palate with medium carbonation. Mild bitter and mild sweet. Somewhat resinous hops. Medium mild finish

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2015 Transferred from 2000 tasting notes: On draft at Nashville brew pub. Nice clear golden color with persistent white foam. Light, creamy pale ale with light corn essence, some flowery hops. Goes great with Boscos’ pizza, lots tastier than major-brand lagers. None of the vanilla and cloying sweetness of local competitor Bohannon Vanilla Cream Ale.

Not nearly as creamy as I hoped. Almost flat and quite dull. Golden in color and thin lacing.

illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 5, 2010
Draft at Nashville. Pours amber with a white head. Cereal grain aroma. Light bodied with average carbonation. For a pale beer, the malt profile is not adjuncty and is pretty nice. Not much detectable bitterness and the finish could be a little cleaner. Not exciting as a stand alone beer, but serves a purpose as an alternative to macro pale lagers.

decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUL 16, 2010
Light yellow pour with creamy off white head and lace. Light malt and earthy hops aroma. Light pepper, a dry beer with a twang of something to it. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

On tap at Memphis brewpub. Pours clear light yellow gold with white head. Aroma is grainy with corn and grass. Flavor is corn and grain with of vanilla maybe. Very light on palate. Rather boring beer but good for your average light macro drinker I guess.
