COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For those of you paying attention, our annual “Wake Up Crew Brew” is actually a formula that we brewed as a regular beer for years, the Tollgate Pale Ale. The predecessor to our Boscos Bombay IPA, this beer employees the same American varietal hops that are used in the IPA but not in the same quantity. This beer is classified as “American-style Pale Ale”. O.G. 1054 I.B.U. 32

Draft at Cool Springs location. Golden in the glass with a creamy white head that has a ring lasting and think lace. Hoppy citrus aroma. The flavor found citrus hops with a caramel background. Light body, medium bitterness, citrus aftertaste. Decent.

Copper brew with an average sized white head. Faint hop aroma. Smooth, dry, and mildly bitter. Well crafted, not over the top in any way.

Aurelius (5371) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 3, 2007
Fluffy off-white head, deep PA bronze. Nicely balanced fruity-malt-yeast aroma. Spot-on. This is what an APA should be. Light fruit, cereal, ample west coast hopping. Mouthy. Finishes out a moderate Cascade thing. Super drinkable. Good food pairing with the spring rolls or pizza. Kudos.

illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 3, 2007
Draft at Boscos Nashville. Pours amber with a wisp of a white head. Faint fruity hop aroma. Perhaps a little overcarbonated mouthfeel. Flavor of pale malts countered by some faint fruity notes. Bitter finish has a peppery bite. Pretty average.

BeerandBlues2 (13594) - Escondido, California, USA - FEB 24, 2006
Draught in Memphis. Pours copper with a medium foamy off-white head and spotty lacing. Floral hop and fruity aroma, caramel malt (grain) and trace yeast. Fruity, floral hop flavor, medium acidity and moderate bitterness, malty body. Medium bodied and clean, crisp palate.
