COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, malty, viscosity layered beneath a hoppy pique allows for a long-lasting and alluring finish in this American-style barleywine. A warm alcohol presence and hints of bread and caramel are present in this luscious and chewy beer.

bottle. pours a beautiful amber with hints of yellow on the edges. thin white head. fruit nose is noticeable from feet away. plum, grape, cherry, inviting sugars all around. flavor delivers. not too aggressive with the hops. just right to let the malt shine. alcohol warmth at the end, just a bit of rocket fuel to dry me out and need another sip. this sucker is dangerous. reminds me of the 1st time i had an old numbskull. i’d forgotten what a good americanized british barleywine could taste like. flavors of pineapple, pear, raisin to go with the other dark fruit notes. biscuity notes in the finish mellow out all of this. a pleasure to sip on as this evolves into something completely different but still delicious from the 1st sip to the last. This and the baltic porter have cost me a lot of money lately. money i have happily spent.
