A red copper coloured ale with a full bodied roasted barley flavour and a thick creamy head. At last I can say we are almost there with this recipe.

Bottle from Tops @ Spar, Cape Town. Aroma of caramel malts, some sugars, bread and a bit hoppy. Flavor is slightly bitter, malty and with a nice body for such a light brew. Enjoyable and refreshing.

Tan colour, good head retention, minimal carbonation, slight caramel malt notes, some bitterness.

Pours clear amber with minimal head. Malt aroma, grain and caramel. The malt lingers on the palate. Not much bitterness. Very light bodied, easy drinking but not very memorable.

AtronSeige (1538) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - JUL 26, 2015

Infected. 440 ml bottle, poured.

Bought this from Tops! Spar. Not a hugh selection, but at least something. Interesting aroma with some malts, but it’s weak. Not bad just not really good or interesting. The flavours are not big enough.

-Bottle, home alone in Parys calls for civilization marathon!- Pours brown with off-white head. Aroma is caramel, metal, cardboard, floral and some sour apples. Thin and somewhat sour palate. sweet, metallic and watery finish. Overall: The metal and sourness is not good. Nice appearance.

Bottle Cape Town. Pours dark clear copper coke with no carbonation or head. Aroma of slight malt and caramel. Taste sweet caramel. Overall very light and lacking in body.

From Banana Jam Cafe, Kenilworth, S.A. Weaker than the beers I usually go for, however, watching whales from Hermanus a few days before it had to be done. Nothing really inspiring here, hints of caramel & malt, light hoppy finish. An O.K. beer on a sunny afternoon, that’s about it.

Bottle at Craft at the Market, Johannesburg
Dark amber color with creamy head. Light caramel aroma and flavor, dryish, weak body; low bitterness without the Hallertau promised; some esters.
Simple but quaffable.

Really great beer. I would like a heavier ale but this one is awesome. Found it on tap at the news cafe at the artscape. This is my first time having stand I’m new to the brewery but would like to try more. It has nice and wheaty nose and i love the colour of the ale. The palate is filling and tasty. amber, hazy, tan foam,
