Bottle shared by AdamChandler, dude, much thanks! Pours pitch black with a thin brown head. Aromas of vanilla, mellow bourbon, light notes of coconut. AdamChandler (5081) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 8, 2017
Flavor of cocoa, steady roast, toffee, and lasting bourbon. Full, thick, chewy body with lingering vanilla. ABV is pretty hidden, 12.5 %? No way! Damn, so good.
Gave a dude a ride in my car in Belgium and he gave me this bottle as a thank you. I like Imperial Stouts. Split 4 ways at fridge temp. 2017 Release.

A - Midnight black, thick, nice boozy legs. no head.
S - Smells like a pancake breakfast. Maple syrup totally dominates the aroma along with butterscotch candies and milk chocolate.
T - maple, bourbon, coffee, vanilla, cocoa. sure all there but an overall toasty quality that is really sticky and tasty.
M - Very creamy mouthfeel, Dense and finishes bitter with a fleeting cocoa flavor.
O - This is a solid beer. It’s not a 15% booze-bomb. just a load of flavor in a small package.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.
[ As Bottle Logic Ground State ].
Clear dark dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light brown to beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, vanilla, cocoa, bourbon, chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic.
500 ml bottle via trade. Pours an opaque brown with a tan head that settles into a ring and a few spots of film atop the liquid. Huge nose. Coffee, maple, vanilla, molasses, and dark fruits. The flavor is coffee, roasted malts, oak, dark chocolate. The nose is much sweeter, the flavor is much drier and roastier. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a roasty, dry, warming mouthfeel with just a little sweetness to balance. It’s excellent but doesn’t stand up to the lofty standard set by Reaction State. Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - APR 25, 2017
Bottle thanks to phaleslu! Thick near black pour, brown fine-bubbled head that dissipates quickly. Nose brings maple, milk chocolate covered coconut and Graham cracker. Taste is more subdued. Definitely sweet, light coffee, chocolate is bigger, oak is present, smooth, medium vanilla. Nice .... medium+ body, creamy texture, light carbonation. Solid, very enjoyable beer. klm1 (1577) - Bled/SF, - APR 22, 2017
Bottle from Healthy Spirits Clement; pours oily black opaque with creamy dissipate head. Aroma: intense roasted grain & datknmalts, licorice, dark fruits esters, vanilla, molasses, bourvbon, leather, woody notes. Flavour is even more intense: rich dark malts notes, which takes on dark cacao chocolate, intense espresso, milk chocolate, molasses, licorice, cacao, vanilla, wood, leather, bourbon, dark fruits esters...finish is dry, body thick, texture almost creamy velvetly, carbonation is moderate. I would give 4.4.... beer_queue (145) - California, USA - MAR 21, 2017
2017 vintage, 13.4%. Malty, bourbon, hella sweet syrupy aromas. Flavors start off with a hit of maple & bourbon. Oats, molasses, & roasted malts in the middle, transitioning nicely to a boozy chocolate-covered coffee bean finish. Medium-full body with no carb. Hot at the end but still quite sticky. Super sweet maple imperial stout but still had a lot of chocolates & coffee to add some complexity.Definitely on the sweet side, and possibly cloying for many, but I love it!! It’s a breakfast stout after all...
