12oz bottle. Medium white head, crystal clear apple juice body. Aroma is moderately sweet, spicy Belgian yeast, some Grains of Paradise, light coriander. Taste is moderately sweet, Grains of Paradise, some spicy/Belgian yeast, light vanilla/orange, finishes grassy. Light-medium body, light creaminess.

12 ounce bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a medium sized white frothy head. Decent head retention. Aroma of candi sugar, grain, spice and stone fruits. The taste is grainy malts, toasted grain, tannic notes, honey, fruity notes. Medium bodied.

Bottle at home. Pours clear gold with a large, fizzy white head, medium retention with spare lacing. Aroma is cracker and biscuit malt with pear and apple esters, light spicy hops. Flavor is sweet and crisp malt, light hops and bitterness, fruity esters and a dry finish. Light body and heavy carbonation.

Had this during the 2011 Shenandoah Throwdown, on the last night when it was just Aaron and I. Pours a clear gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Soft sweet grain, toast and light malt and wheat. Sweet and grainy, soft grain. Drinkable and grainy.

Bottles from Pat’s and RR Street. Pours hazy gold with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is tart, lactic, hopcitric. Tastes of bready pale malt, hopcitrus, and some finishing tartness. Mediocre.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle from Total Wine & More in McLean, VA. Clear yellow pour with a large white carbonated head. This beer really sucks - little bit of sweet grain on the aroma, but it tastes totally artificial. Drain pour.

10/9/13. On tap at Bleu Cafe. Hazed golden orange pour with a small off-white head that lasts. Mild aroma, lightly sweet, some citrus fruits, pale malts. Lightly sweet flavor, mineral water, orange peel, esters, Belgian yeast, lingering dryness. Not bad.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 12 oz bottle. Murky light golden appearance, soft silky white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Bubblegum and clove in the aroma. Flavor is full-bodied and chewy. Pick up some candied sugar notes, a bit of lemony citrus, some saffron-like spiciness. Nice spritz to the mouthfeel, Overall, very solid.
