Hazy amber with a big, durable, off-white head, leaving nice lacing. Quite complex nose, it is sweet and nutty yet after a while it develops fruity and yeasty notes as well. Sweet, but with dry spices keeping the balance, dry finish. Fruity with some sourness, hints of mandarin and pepper. Surprising light-bodied. A Belgian masterpiece. bierkoning (13491) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 30, 2005
