2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden beer with a thin, white head. Aromas of funky blueberries, and not much else. Tastes of some wheat, tart blueberries, and some skunky flavors. Slightly mouth puckering sour berry finish. The blueberry flavor is a bit too tart and artificial. Refreshing, but a bit bland and watery.
A middling fruity wheat beer. Pours reddish orange. Aroma is mostly wheat with a bit of blueberry. Less fruitiness in the flavor than I'd expected. Tried for the first time in 2011. alexsdad06 (11223) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 12, 2016
Bottle picked up locally from notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, blueberry that started mild and got slightly stronger, some sweetness, but generally pretty bland. Lemke10 (996) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 7, 2015
This pours a reddish/copper color with a slight off-white head. The aroma is full of wheat with some hints of blueberry flavor. The texture is thin and light with a decent grain flavor but not much of a blueberry flavor. Finishes with a bit of a lingering chalky flavor. A drinkable beer, but not what the label/style would lead you to believe the style is like. merc7186 (3160) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - SEP 24, 2015

Pours an orangish brown with little head. Weak aroma of berries. Very fruity but not obviously blueberry. Mostly sweet but some spruce hop flavor. Light bodied.

I didn’t taste much blueberry in this beer. It’s a little fruity but very synthetic. I’m not sure if this combination worked out. lionus (11) - , Wisconsin, USA - AUG 5, 2015
Finally, a blueberry beer that is tart and not sickeningly sweet. Well balanced and flavorful. raymow (1860) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 27, 2015
on tap at Dog & Bull in Croydon - decent flavor. Hint of blueberry but not overpowering like some. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 5, 2015
12 oz bottle dated 27 July 2012, so a little past date but no signs of spoilage. [from Sept. 2012 notes]
A: Pours a clear, amber-copper color with a small, dingy white head. Plenty of visible carbonation, both fine and coarse. The head settles quickly to a ring and partial top coat that endure and leave patches of lacing on the glass.
S & T: vague fruity aroma I probably would not have identified as blueberry in a blind test. This fruitiness is mixed with some wheat, caramel and what smells like winter squash. The flavor is clearly blueberry and toasted grains. Overall, bitter and sweet are more or less in balance.
M: A little over-carbonated and too sharp; light bodied; slightly dry finish.
O: A rather mediocre blueberry wheat, with limited blueberry flavor and rather aggressive carbonation. In comparison to others, however, this one avoids an overdose of blueberry flavor and the more common problem of being overly sweet. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body under a one finger fizzy off-white head. The nose is kinda husky and grainy with just a bit of wheat and pretty minimal blueberry fruitiness. The flavor is really pretty weird. I was expecting a heavy blueberry extract/candy like flavor, but there’s very little blueberry in here. Very bland and boring stuff. lighter bodied but slightly clingy with minimal carbonation. This stuff is pretty awful.
