Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

Got this once as a single, but it's been a while. Just picked up the Mojo Risin Double IPA to sample which reminded me about this one. At the time, I was comparing this beer to other IPAs like Lost Coast Indica Pale Ale and Dogfish which I liked a little better. This is a decent brew, from what I remember at least, but didn't stand out to me enough to want to rush out and try again.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2018 12oz bottle at home, pours a clear golden with a thin lacing white head. Smells of malty grass, the taste is grassy at first then finishes a little citrusy. It's a decent IPA, nothing too special though

Pretty decent IPA. Nicely balanced. Has a dense sweetness that’s evened out with some grassy hops and citrus finish.

Pours hazy golden with a nice one finger frothy white head with good retention and a nice aroma of citrus and pine. Tastes of exceptionally bitter and earthy, resinous pine. It’s medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. It’s frothy and bitter with backseat malt. Long bitter finish.

August 2017 - Cask, gravity, at GBBF 2017, Kensington Olympia. As 'Boulder Beer Mojo'. Pretty sure it's this version. Hazy orange, still with a bubbly white head. Aroma is caramel, malt sugars. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is a little cheesy, gloopy sugars, some booze showing up, slight mango. Not too fussed. It's OK. Maybe not suited to this dispense. (6-4-5-4-13=3.2)
