3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer is higher in alcohol than most ales. At 6.8% ABV, it’s just enough to warrant respect but not high enough to leave a tell tale alcohol smell. The IPA has a nice tangy taste with a decent bitter finish. It’s a clean taste and is smooth sipping. The wheat blended into this beer makes this perfect for a nice warm day. It’s a nice contrast to the big IPA’s such as Dogfish Head 90-minute or Green Flash’s West Coast IPA. This is the type of IPA you could easily drink a few of. The overall experience isn’t really outstanding but then again I don’t think it was meant to be a knockout. This one is for enjoying and sharing with your friends on an easy going day. This beer gets a green light in my book and I’d certainly buy it again.
Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 3. A hazy orange golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of orange fruits, fruity bitter hops. Taste of intense fruity hops, orange, grapefruit, long bitter finish. Westy1130 (97) - New York, USA - JUL 20, 2017

Fresh bomber. Clear orange with a nice white head that leaves great lacing as it shrinks. Aroma is tropical fruit, honeydew melon, bubblegum, and sweet caramel. Taste is melon, citrus, and pineapple. Pine bitterness kicks in and is joined with a caramel malt sweetness. Finishes a bit sticky and somewhat dry. Freaky_tiki (1274) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 17, 2017
Bottle from Total Wine. Middle of the road ipa. Mineral water meets medium hops. Probably not helped by the neglect of the Total Wine shelves. MrJamesMcEwan (244) - SCOTLAND - MAR 6, 2017

C-. Pours a clear golden color with white head. It’s on the bitter side for my preference. Dredd (947) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - JAN 18, 2017
Hazy orange pour with thin head. Very restrained aroma with a hint of citrus. Slightly bready/apricot malts upfront and a pleasant bitter finish.
Nice but not memorable. unclefrito62 (288) - Stow, Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Some citrus aromas and pale golden in color. Taste is not over hopped and a little after bite on the palate. You get the India Pale Ale profile, just not crazy hopped which makes this drinkable. Overall this is above average for style gyllenbock (9299) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 13, 2016
