UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Tap. Mostly clear orange pour with a nice small soapy white head. Earthy and mild citrus nose. Medium to lighter palate. Taste is dusty, earthy, and slightly hoppy. A bit bland on taste. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 22, 2012
Tap @ Old Chicago Foco Harmony. Clear, burnt orange appearance with a big, white head. Spicy, bitter, resiny, a touch citrusy hoppy, light soapy aroma. Soapy, somewhat spicy, earthy hoppy, toasty malty, a bit burnt flavor. I’m not a fan. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 1, 2012
Pour on tap at Old Chicago, dark red pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of slight dark fruits, toffee and caramel with some spicy and grassy hops. Taste was a bit much on the hop and didn’t balance all too well, some slight grain and toast, grass and pine bitter a lot and cover most of the caramel and toffee notes.

Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a transparent golden-orange with off-white lacing. Smells off, but tastes better. Average on the palate. Forgettable. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Draft. Pours a ckear rust orange with minimal head. Light aroma of grains and citrus. Taste is light bitter. Piney and herbal with some grains. Liggt bodied with a thin texture. Soft carbonation with a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Boulder does make better beer than this though. tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 1, 2012
on draft made specifically for old chicago resturants. orangish/amber color with minimal white head. malty sweet and some mild hop aroma. i was hoping for an esb but good bland instead. not a very good style...yes you had some bitterness but thats where it started and stopped never much lingered on the tongue. Has not much of a scent, nice amber color with a frothy white head. Has a nice malty taste that covers up the bitterness.

On tap at Old Chicago Colorado Springs. Color is a deep amber with very low carbonation and a thick off white head. Aroma is very faint, I only get a trace of malt. It has a medium body that goes down with a light smooth mouth feel. Flavor has a bit of toffee, a touch of hop spice and then a bold bitterness. Overall its a nice easy drinking brew but there’s just not much to it.
