Draft at Ol Chi Rockford. Pours black with a good bit of dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate milk with a hint of coffee. Pretty sweet stuff, but not so sweet that I couldn’t drink it all night...because I totally could. cjn_Architect (6) - Normal, Illinois, USA - JAN 1, 2013 does not count

Tap. Dark black pour, rich 1/2 inch head and an aroma of bakers chocolate. Flavor is rich dark chocolate a little sweet lactose sugar and a little peat on the aftertaste. Really nice. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 12, 2011
Pour on tap at old chicago is dark brownish black with nice creamy tan head, aroma has big notes of chocolate, vanilla, some slight espresso and mocha notes, hints of caramel and slight roast. Taste is really nice and big into chocolate, lots of milk and dark chocolate and even some cocoa powder, goes into a hint of vanilla and caramel, finishing fairly sweet. Impressive flavors in this one! EHopper (620) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 29, 2012
My word, had a glass at old Chicago, tastes like someone poured a Sunday’s work path of Hersey’s in the glass and stirred. I feel like I shouldn’t like, but such a guilty pleasure. The malt and the a bit of sharpness, with the hint of alcohol warmth make this a very drinkable beer. I need to share this with a non-craft beer drinking friend,

Tap in Fort Collins. Pours a deep black appearance with a cola-like foamy head. Roasted chocolate malty aroma. Roasted and very chocolatey flavor. Creamy mouthfeel and a strong chocolate but not overly sweet finish. Surprisingly pretty good. illiniphil (148) - Nashotah, Illinois, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Had on draft at Old Chicago. Pours a dark brown with a decent and lingering white head. Chocolate, sweetness and burnt malts predominate. Nicely balanced and not cocoa overpowering. Liked it!
