COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our twist on the traditional american porter, Shake chocolate porter is black in color with rich, dark chocolate aromatics and flavors and subtle coffee-like notes. This unique brew blends five different grains, including Chocolate Wheat, that along with cacao nibs create a devilishly delicious chocolate finish with a velvety mouth feel.

Pours dark with a heavy head and strong lacing. Aroma is chocolate through and through. Mouthfeel is chocolate heavy with a slight hint of coffee. Aftertaste is minimal. Could imagine myself drinking a six pack of this on a warm day on the beach.

bottle - Near black pour, smells of chocolate and roast malt. The flavor is sweet milk chocolate with some roast coffee notes giving it a mocha character. There's some milk bitterness on the back end. Smooth and very tasty.

B+. Pours a black color with khaki head. Enormous chocolate aroma and flavor. More of a dark chocolate though

When you want a beer (a MAN’s BEER) to taste like a Hersheys bar, just drop a load (of chocolate) into your unsuspecting BLATZ, and you’ll have what you have, A MAN’S BEER with CHOCOLATE. Or you could drink this fuffy little girls drink. You know what I’m talking about?

on tap in Golden, wow the aroma of chocolate malt hits you immediately, then you sip and are rewarded with a delightful mouthful of roasted chocolate and vanilla. tastes just like a malted milk shake straight out of a 1950s diner on Route 66. Damn good beer, will definitely be buying again

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 How this beer gets so much love is beyond me. It's made with jugs of chocolate extract flavor, lending it a certain graininess. Actual cocoa nib addition is negligible. The extract is just too much. Too sweet on nose and palate. Gross.

On nitro. Huge, rich aroma of chocolate, light creamy mouthfeel from the nitro. Appropriately named, big notes of chocolate, light on the roast, sweet & easy to drink.

On tap @ District Tap House. This has to be a nitro. At lest theres a really good looking nitro creamy beige head on this. The beer itself is dark dark brown and impossible to see through. It smells nothing else than chocolate cakes. Wow! Like smelling a chocolate cake straight from the fridge. Never had that much chocolate in a beer before, or at least that I can remember. Brownies. This is absolutely an amazing amazing aroma. Totally wild. What an amazing tasting beer this is. Theres oh so much chocolate cake and brownies in this. A ton of mocha coffee also. Its nitro mild and almost velvety on the texture really smooth. It tastes like you want a chocolate glaze to taste. Absolutely fantastic! Totally sold on this one. 13.06.2015
