COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our twist on the traditional american porter, Shake chocolate porter is black in color with rich, dark chocolate aromatics and flavors and subtle coffee-like notes. This unique brew blends five different grains, including Chocolate Wheat, that along with cacao nibs create a devilishly delicious chocolate finish with a velvety mouth feel.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2017 12/30/17 With Abby and Sarah at Jack Brown’s beer and burger joint. Basically opaque brown/black with minimal head. Smells just like chocolate milk Taste is all chocolate. Pretty sweet with only a slight bitterness. Palate is light-ish without much carbonation and goes down easy. Finish fades quickly. Overall, a chocolate-bomb of a beer and a great one!

New Bohemia. Pours black with thin tan head. Scent is fudge and brownies. Rich and chocolatey. Taste follows. Lots of chocolate as well as hints of coffee. Body is heavy with smooth mouthfeel. Finish is dark chocolate. Good beer. Very rich though.

This beer has a great aroma. The head was a little lacking and the taste was a bit to chocolate for me. Average at best ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A beer I don’t think I’d turn down. The aroma makes you think you had a dessert taste buds doesn’t know if it did or not. Not saying it’s sweet but it makes your senses think so

Pours black and slightly translucent with a tan head with nice lacing and a nice chocolate aroma. Tastes of rich chocolate malt and cocoa nibs with a very mildly bitter hop finish. It's medium bodied with minimal carbonation. There is also some bitter alcohol in the finish to help balance the sweet chocolate.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2017 Had on draft, nitro. Lots of creamy dark chocolate and little (if any) coffee notes. Body was a bit watery but not bad. No alcohol taste to speak of.

Pours dark with a 3 finger head with substantial lacing. As advertised, aroma is of chocolate and slight roast. Taste is all chocolate with an ever-so-slight hop profile on the back of the palate. Finish is smooth chocolate. Nice, easy drinking beer.
