COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our twist on the traditional american porter, Shake chocolate porter is black in color with rich, dark chocolate aromatics and flavors and subtle coffee-like notes. This unique brew blends five different grains, including Chocolate Wheat, that along with cacao nibs create a devilishly delicious chocolate finish with a velvety mouth feel.

Draft. It poured a dark brown with a nice tan head. The aroma was milk chocolate. It was very sweet, like drinking a glass of hard chocolate milk.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Appearance is dark brown with finger-width light brown foamy head with fair retention and fair lacing. Aroma is strong cocoa. Taste is strong sweet milk chocolate with light bitter ending. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, average carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, it certainly scores high on the chocolate front and if it tasted like this without cacao nibs I’d give it higher marks, but it is pretty much a one-trick pony without any complexity. Good dessert beer.

12oz pour on tap at Stout W33rd St, NYC on 11-Nov-2016. Brown in colour with a thick creamy beige coloured head. Aroma of sweet cocoa, coffee and malt. Medium body and soft carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel, with chocolate, mocha, roasted malt and spices. Light bittersweet finish. A chocolate desert in a glass.

Thin and mild, with a moderate chocolate middle and a modest mocha fade. Weak on the front and finish. Hey, WOB Savannah: clean your damn tap lines.

Dark brown pour with thick, quick beige foam. Malty nose with lots of chocolate and toasted notes. Light / medium body with slightly slick texture. The taste is strongly milk chocolate but not cloyingly sweet or overpowering. Very tasty with dessert.

This beer has a solid sweet milk chocolate aroma and flavor. Mouthfeel is smooth and velvety. While i do not get actual lactose in the flavor profile, there is something milk shake like about this brew. Nice desert beer.

12oz bottle. Pours a deep black color with a finger of sticky foam that coats the glass. Aroma is purely sweet milk chocolate, smells like a milkshake. The first sip is a huge rush of sweet milk chocolate flavor with a thick malt backbone. But this beer tastes all cocoa, all the time. A slight tinniness on the aftertaste. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle at Denver Airport. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing brown head. Pitch black body. Very sweet cocoa vanilla caramel aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish.
