Bottle. A rich copper color with a foamy tan head. Light fruit and floral aroma with a malt base. Dry with a medium body. Primarily just a malty beer typical of amber ales. Aggie80 (818) - Michigan, USA - JUN 29, 2003
Very good head that pours with a nice copper color. Good balance all the way around with good carbination making this a refreshing brew. Slight hoppy aftertaste. Vacation 03 beermatrix (1497) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - JUN 26, 2003
Strange light pale brown with a orangy glow, kinda coppery, looks like a dark honey or thin maple syrup. Finger high head of off-white creamy, bumpy foam. Smells of fresh citrus fruits, not to sour, dull orange and peachy, very nice. Taste is smooth and pale of malt, caramel malt, with a short hop twinge, very clean and mellow. Fairly sugary sweet but dulled, short lived with a small creamy tang, quite enjoyable. Medium bodied, with a smooth creamyness feel, nice. Major drinkability, its one smooth, lighty creamy, yummy, mellowy sweet ride. badgerben (5178) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 23, 2003
I can't even remember anything about this beer, which probably says something about its quality. I like the end of the commercial description best: "companion to any of our Pub Favorites," hopefuly meaning food. It's good to wash down things, but not to have on its own. Pale golden hue. Prominent toasty, toffeeish aroma. Faint nuttiness, sweet corn, wood, coarse, leafy hop, light tropical fruitiness, and metallic undertones. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Gentle carbonation. Predictable bland maltiness and faint hoppiness which is expected of the style. Finishes with slightly abrasive hop textures and lingering toast. Adequate malt profile and hop backbone for this typical, boring style.

Sure enough, it is Copper colored. Veggie flavors, up front, then a grainy palate and a dry, hoppy finish. Somewhere the was a green bean flavor that lingers around in the aftertaste. beerbastard (844) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAY 1, 2003
Clear light amber, some lacing. Clean even mix of hops and caramel. Starts sweet and finishes dry. Smooth with good body. Enjoyable. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - APR 8, 2003
Rock Bottom in Scottsdale: Clear golden with a lacey head. Body is sweet and smooth with caramel attributes and a crisp dry finish. Pretty well-balanced, but otherwise dull. Crash (532) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - APR 4, 2003

Lovely light copper color with nice head and some lacing. Mild flavors decently balanced. A bit thin in the mouth. clean finish. Not bad with a meal. For my meal at the Denver chop house I liked this a bit more than the APA.
