Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head.
Scent is slightly spiced bread.
Taste is metallic bitter, slightly sour citrus and caramel.
Some hop bitter.
Below average taste....a little unbalanced.

On tap at local restaurant, pours a clear amber with spotty lacing, the aroma actually had a decent amount of hops with some caramel and malt, the flavor was pretty disapointing compared to the aroma, some light caramel and malt with a finish of a metal like finish, ugh. wxman (1865) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - JUN 15, 2012
This is good. On tap at Global Brew. Pours a clear golden with a nice white head. Malt a sweatsock aroma. I know that sounds gross, but in this case it isn’t. Nice biscuity vanilla wafer and sweet malt taste. Some tartness. Really good!

Had on tap.
Arrived a slightly hazy light copper with little head.
Aroma was somewhat sweet and malty with a little bit of caramel and citrus.
The flavor was quite toasted and I though I detected some rye in there. There was an underlying citrus note but it was hard to tell if it was from the hops or the yeast possibly. A moderate bitterness and a clean finish.

Copper color (obviously). Fruity, apricot flavor with a light malt finish. Pretty good for an amber.

Clear copper with a lingering head covering and good spot lacing. The usual caramel malt is right up front, closely followed by medium hops. The bitterness lingers nicely far into the night. Worth a try.
