355ml bottle poured a copper color with a big white head which settled quickly and left a few spots of lacing behind. Aroma is slightly nutty and caramel. Taste is light malty sweetness and a light hoppy bitterness. A decent amber ale. csaso (2321) - Missouri, USA - OCT 3, 2011
Tap - small thick head, medium amber color, mildhoppy flavor with a different taste - can’t quite place it

A: The beer pours a light amber color with a small off-white head.
S: Smells a bit buttery. There is some sweet bread and toffee, but very minimal hop character. A light fruit ester quality to go with the rather bland malt and hop character. A touch of pine and definitely a bit of grass.
T: Some grass and straw, and a hint of pine. The bready malt flavor combines with a light toffee note to provide some sweetness.
M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: Another sub-par offering at the Boulder Beer Tap House. Hawksfan17 (890) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - AUG 9, 2011
Pours a dark copper and smells of mild hops. Too much sweet sentiments in the flavor. I prefer more hops then malt in this style but then again I am a hophead. Smooth finish. cubs (10717) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 3, 2011
Tap @ Boulder Beer DIA. Burnt orange appearance with a cream colored head. Mild earthy hoppy, caramel malty nose that’s not too potent. Dull earthy hoppy, not very exciting caramel malty flavor. More boring than I remembered.

12 ounce from Beer Trappe. Light color. Closer to a clean pale ale with some very light caramel. Not outstanding by any means, but drinkable. Onslow (1532) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAY 26, 2011
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear amber brew with one finger of white head. Aroma of grassy hops, light malts. Taste is light, a little sweet, offset by a nice hops profile. Grassy hops with a lingering, sour finish that, as with their Pale Ale, takes a little getting used to. No bad. jimmay (815) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - APR 30, 2011
12 oz bottle. Pours amber in colour with moderate white head. Aroma is a little biscuity, taste is ok, a little punky. Didn’t love this one. DuffMan (10667) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 28, 2011
On tap, as part of a tasting tray enjoyed while patiently waiting out a weather delay in the airport enroute to Chicago.Light golden amber, thin white head. Light caramel malt aroma, hints of dried leaves and metal. Lightly caramel malts, biscuity, lightly bitter hop finish. ibeerlove (113) - Colorado, USA - APR 24, 2011
