12 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar, Blacksburg. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grainy and nutty malts, floral notes and caramel. The taste is bitter hops, nutty notes and a toasted finish. Medium bodied.

3.2
BeerandBlues2 (13810) - Escondido, California, USA - AUG 4, 2005
Draught. Pours copper with a thin off-white head and spotty lacing. Sweet caramel malt brown sugar and fruit hop aroma. Bitter acidic malt and hoppy fruit flavor. Medium bodied and crisp palate.

2.9
Dogbrick (13751) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 13, 2008
Sample at the Rock Bottom MSP location. This beer is a clear orange color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes quickly. Patches of lacing. Aroma of light citrusy hops and sweet caramel malt. Light-bodied with a sweet caramel and malt character, and just a bit of hops flavor too. The finish is sweet and malty and the aftertaste does not linger long. No big faults, just a boring beer.

3.2

hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 29, 2006
12oz bottle acquired in trade with robertsreality (thanks!). Poured a medium orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, and I’m getting a light earhiness. Tastes of citrus, caramel, and toasted malts. Starts off lightly sweet and ends in a light citrus, bitter finish.

2.6
slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 26, 2014
"an average amber ale that has a decent malt profile with a little dirt/biscuitiness to it, and some bitter but not overly aromatic or flavorful hops. ok i guess."

3.1
Sammy (12742) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 27, 2008
Nice little beer with a light copper colour and a minimum head, but lace leaves its sign of freshness, and enormous spider webbing. No aroma, yet the hop is assuredly there without being overwhelming. A bit less than average mouthfeel. Drinkable, and sessionable.

3.2
jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 3, 2006
on tap-pours a light tan head and gold color. Aroma is faint malt. Taste is medium malt-sweet, balanced nicely with slight biting hops. OK carbonation.
