Bottle. A solid Amercan ale which has a carmel/roasted malt earthy taste to it. Subtle bitterness at the end which adds to the balance. ubamartian (155) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 1, 2007
Draught. Pours a beautiful copper color, with a light quickly disappearing white head. Lacing evident throughout. Balance of lightly roasted hops and carmelized malts fill the aroma. Flavor is a light balance of same, finishes just a tad stronger than it begins. Hops overbalance the rest of the flavors, but not to the point of an ipa or bitter beer. Slightly lingering subtle hops let you know you have just had a decent ale. The feeling on the mouth is a medium body a bit of a tang on the tongue, and slightly carbonated tickling. Poured from bottle. This beer is clear (not in the sense of lacking color) and coppery. The head is long lasting. Nice mellow bitter flavor..not much of an aftertaste. When it is over...it is over... This is nothing special...but I would not turn my head to it. Sincere (145) - wichita, Kansas, USA - FEB 28, 2006
12 oz bottle. Pours a copper color with almost no lasting head at all. Smells faintly of yeast. Very active carbonation. Tastes very smooth at first with a sharp ending. Fairly malty with an earthy grain taste. Decent mouthfeel. Average overall, but very drinkable. CasperQuaffer (142) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - NOV 8, 2007
Pours a bit cloudy and not quite dark or red enough to be called copper. Smells faintly of cherries. Flavor is hoppy with caramel and fruit accents. Palate is watery but has as much body as mega brewed pale lagers.

Ok -- not great -- looks enticing, but then its a little too bitter over balanced. Strangely reminscent of Sam Adams Boston Lager somehow? Not bad, but I'll stay away from this one for a while. tunneler (131) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - OCT 15, 2007
Light/med amber color, with a nice head although maybe I poured a bit too high. Sweet malt/honey aroma. Crisp and not bad. JustinFromAL (125) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUN 8, 2008
Tap, as Rock Bottom Singletrack Copper Ale. Copper pour, thin white head that sticks to the glass. Hard to catch an aroma in a stinky airport restaurant. Nice hop finish with a malty start. Not an outstanding beer, not a bad beer either. Plamadude30k (122) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUL 18, 2009
Uncomplicated might be the best thing I can say about this beer. Nothing incredibly unique or notable here. Still, it is okay when cold for summertime grilling.
