Tap at Denver airport. Poured a clear copper colour with a frothy white head and some lacing. The aroma is metallic hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a hoppy weak liquorice watery palate. A poor Amber Ale with no real character. JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 17, 2004
Amber colour (surprise) with a creamy off-white head. Caramel/toffee malt aroma with some cookie dough as well. Flavour shows good balance of malt and hops. Slightly citrus hoppiness. I liked it. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 27, 2012
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2014 12oz bottle, best by 7/10/12... Got it 3 days ago, from Party Source. Clear yellow / orange / amber color. Some particles floating in the body. Good thin white head, leaves decent lace. Musty, mettalic mashy smell. Smells like the inside of a small brewery, kind of. Medium body, smooth light carbonation. Bitter taste, light sweet. Decent copper ale, as it is. 5/3/6/4/11 blipp (9899) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 7, 2009
Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Sweet malty aroma, light hops. The flavor has light sweet caramel malt, and a hint of hops that sneaks in at the end. Not bad. bb (9790) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 3, 2005
Bottle. Copepr color. Caramel aroma. Thick, rich caramel flavor with some hop backingleading to a balanced malty amber.

Another bottle thanks to Richard. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. The aroma is full of caramel and a large hop presence. Some light citrus and honey too. The flavor is smooth and easy; lots of crisp hops balanced by a large caramel and light toasted malt. Very quaffable and easygoing. A light bitterness in the finish. Draught. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Clear dark amber body. Dry hops bitteerness and a heavy carbonation plus a long aftertaste. arminjewell (9721) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 26, 2010
Pours hazier orange with white head, aroma is old sweet biscuit, almost ester-like. Tastes similar to aroma with an odd sweetness, but still fairly enjoyable. czar (9600) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 10, 2015
(labeled as singletrack rye pale ale - can) pours unclear pale golden with a small creamy off-white head, good retention and lacing. spicy soap - irish spring-like *TM, citrus, woodsy cvanilla, spicy and peppery pean maltiness - spicy biscuits; appreciable dose of toasted caramel, pepper and pine. light carbonation, light body - slightly watery; assertive if not slightly unbalanced peppery-spicy-piney finish. decently crafted rye pale ale. 3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 27, 2004
Bottle from Rockies Brewing Company. Clear orange appearance, sweet nose full of malts with some orange, wood, nuts, and grape aromas. Very clean and crisp malt flavor, a little grainy, with a sweet orange and bread overriding flavor. Certinaly not bad, but nothing special.
