theres a weird mix of musty, sweetness, and bittering hops in the nose, and a little in the flavor. this has more going on than most blondes, but is a slight miss with the sum of the parts. not bad, but average or below for a wheat beer as well, and easily Boulders weakest offering that Ive tried."

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a small fizzy white head that vanished quickly. The nose is fairly bland, some wheat and pale malt with a minimal touch of yeastiness. It tastes pretty similar, a light citrusy kick up front that fades to a lightly yeasty and wheat malt finish. Light bodied and easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Just about what youd expect from a beer with this name.

Thanks Brenda. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a soft golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a good minute leaving some light lacing all around the glass. The smell started off with a sweet grainy wheaty citrusy aspect. The taste was basically the same with a strong sweet orange aftertaste that led to a slightly watery finish (however, it seemed like a good watery). On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a good sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed a bit more there than expected but that could be due to the fact that the wheat seemed a bit more subdued. Overall, if anything, this one definitely is a Summer beer as its fairly refreshing for the most part.

Appearance is the best thing about this beer. Poured at a good temperature with a long-lasting off-white head, lots of lace, And a clear yellow color. Aroma is fruit yeast and grain. Flavor is Lake knows plus has good carbonic tang not overly sweet, tho are not very complex. Buddy is okay but a touch on the watery side. Not a bad beer overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours slightly hazy pale straw, two finger rocky head, thin lacing. Aroma wheat malt, fruity esters, noble hops. Taste rich wheat malt, slight bready, on the sweet side, fruity esters, noble hips in background. Mouthfeel medium body, high carbonation, sweet finish. Overall tasty, not great, but solid fir the style, a bit too high abv to be a session beer.

Transfer from BA review on 8-4-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance Pours a lightly hazed golden color with a one finger head. The head fades slowly over time to give a fair amount of lacing. Smell The aroma was heaviest of bread with lighter notes of caramel and some yeast. Mixed with this was a very light lemon citrus hop aromas as well as some banana. Taste The taste begins with a sweeter malt taste with strong caramel and wheat tastes. As the flavor advances the sweetness fades slightly with notes of a lemon hop flavor coming to the tongue. This takes the taste to the end were it mixes with yeast and banana flavors to leave a satisfying flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeeel The brew was on the average side in body with a medium level of carbonation. Both are fitting for the flavors but nothing spectacular. Overall Very easy drinking, but a little subtle and boring for the most part.

Bottle to pint. Enjoy by 10/22/14. Looks solid; definitely more like a wheat ale than a blonde ale though. A hazy lemon gold with white head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells of wheat and citrus (mainly orange). A hefe presence on the nose as well. Tastes like it smells with an average, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Not bad, but forgettable. And is it a blonde ale, a wheat ale, or a hefeweizen?

Good summer wheat beer, similar to blue moon. Carbonation might be a little higher. Sweet beer and fruity. I got in a sample pack. Worth a try.
