Boulevard 21st anniversary fresh hop ale. 750ml bottle. Thanks to Andrew for sharing.. Pours a semi-transparent
apricot orange with a thin wispy white head... Citrusy piney hop nose.
Not the freshest but not too bad... Flavors follow suit but more
emphasis on the citrus aspect while pine plays more of a subordinate
role. Medium bodied with lively carbonation

750 ml shared with my brother. Pours a golden brown with a big frothy off white head. Aroma is nicely piney hops with a bit of citric fruit notes and a strong bready toasty malt character. Flavor is a bit more on the piney side with a subtle fruity note. The sweet biscuity malts remain throughout and keep a nice backbone with the lightly bitter piney finish. Medium body and a softer carbonation. Not a bad pale ale. Beaver (1867) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 2, 2011
750ml bottle, best by 06/2011. Pours a hazy tea amber with a medium creamy off white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2011
The aroma is bready caramel and crystal malts with some grassy fruity hops.
The flavor is some grassy hops and a little melon and resin with light to medium bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with slightly sharp carbonation.
Overall, I was a bit disappointed. The flavors were kind of bland and I didn’t care for them.
bottle. pours hazed orange with white head. nose has floral grassy orange hop notes.flavors of orange citrus, melon, earth, nice dry citrusy finish. Really good
stuff. ajd413 (18) - Colorado, USA - JAN 2, 2011
I guess I expected a lot more from this one for the price and the packaging..it’s a fine pale ale with a nice story, but nothing special for flavor.

12/31/10. 750mL thanks to Tim and Rachel! Big biscuity aroma with lots of caramel and aromas of honey and citrus. Sweet malty flavor with black tea, honey, and a hint of citrus. Not bad. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JAN 1, 2011
750 ml bottle shared by drewbeerme. Pours a well hazed darker amber hue, some fiery orange, a small frothy offwhite head dies to a tiny ring, laces small. Aromas are caramel, toffee, biscuits pairing into grapefruit, lemon, florals, and a touch of grass. A touch of lemon cookie, toffee, more grass. Fairly fresh, perhaps oxidizing a bit. Initial is clean, lighter bodied with fresh florals and grass, touches of citrusy lemon, bready malts and crackers, touch of biscuits. Simple, decent hopping, tasty and refreshing with lingering lemon LtDan (1808) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Appearance: Pours a vibrant cloudy orange with a creamy film of white atop. No lacing to speak of.thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Aroma: Deep resinous pine, cologne, freshly sliced grapefruit.
Taste: Earthy malt, big pungent piney hops, biscuit, finishes with a funky little twang. I get a big earthy rye malt aftertaste that lingers, with the citrus notes sticking to the sides of my cheeks.
Mouthfeel: Lively creamy carbonation.
Overall: One of the hoppiest beers I’ve had in a while. This beer was so fresh, hoppy and lively, I’m very impressed.
(750ml bottle best by 6/2011 thanks to bu11zeye) clear rich orange with sparse tan bubbles. Nose of caramel, sweet citrus, juicy orange and fresh wet hops. Taste of orange juice, sweet and fresh citrus, nice balance with the bitterness. Earthy finish with rye present and soft carbonation.
