COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With roots in two of today’s most popular brewing styles, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is the result of careful cultivation by our brewers and cellarmen. Their efforts to craft a hybrid yielded a bumper crop of flavor; a delightfully distinctive ale with the aroma of an IPA and the refreshing taste of a wheat beer.

12 oz bottle. BB 09/Dec/2016. (Boulevard Brewing Co) Kansas City, MO.
Cloudy golden color with a small to medium foamy white head. Citrusy hops, mild bitterness, wheat, yeast and dryness in the aroma. The flavor is dry hops, mild bitterness, dry malt, wheat and mild yeast. Pretty decent.

Draft. Hazy gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of orange blossom, malted wheat, and pale malt. Quite soft on the palate with more wheat, juicy and clean citrus, and cut grass. Medium bodied with a mild but balancing bitterness. Mellow but tasty overall.

Solid if imperfect. A favorite style from a favorite brewer, tasty and quaffable although seems a little less than perfectly integrated.

On tap at Millstone in Rock Hill. Citrusy aroma. Cloudy gold with pretty much no head. Citrus and grassy hops work well with the honey and wheat. Yeast and pepper notes. Dry with a bit of sweetness. Quite good.
