I love this beer! Nice grapefruit and lemon aromas. Crisp hop bitterness lights up the tongue. Big citrusy flavors complement the tart and refreshing characteristics of the wheat. A great session beer that is not heavy but big on flavor. mms222 (9) - Colorado, USA - AUG 29, 2012 does not count
Poured into a Boulevard Tulip. Not much lacing. Citrusy quality I look for in an IPA finishes with that Boulevard signature wheat taste. Great session beer! bbrock81 (317) - Le Mars, Iowa, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Pours a cloudy bright yellow-gold with a thick white head. Aroma is all citrusy, grassy hops, very nice. Flavor is light and fresh, citrus and flower and grass again, with a nice, light wheat undertone. Palate is also light and fresh, not overly carbonated but still light enough to be refreshing. This is a truly excellent new style of beer that combines the very best of IPA and American wheat beer. One of the best and most refreshing summer beers available. I’ve been to the grocery store many times hesitant to try this hybrid. I finally had to go for it. Pours a hazy golden color with hop bouquet. The flavor is rather refreshing, reminiscent of summery wheat beers with that IPA backbone. Delicious ! Ctplt777 (530) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JAN 20, 2015
This has so much flavor it’s ridiculous. The aroma is massive amounts of sweet yeast followed by lemon citrus hoppiness. Smells absolutely delicious. It’s super hazy from the unfiltered wheat which just adds to the overall complexity of this beer. I can’t imagine the balancing act it takes to make an essentially wheat ipa. So much lemon, citrus and that nice sweetness you’d expect from a wheat beer. Really refreshing and super drinkable, this one is a no brainer. Cheers

Hoppier than their Unfiltered Wheat. Tastes wonderful. Will be keeping some of this in my beer refrigerator. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Pours hazy orange with a large white head. Smells of pineapple, citrus, mild wheat sweetness. Taste is bitter citrus peel, subtle sweetness, and a hint of hops. Light-bodied with a wet texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Boulevard 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer finishes with a fruity punch. Bamaboy1975 (242) - Suffolk, Virginia, USA - FEB 9, 2014
Golden color with a blonde head
Aroma: Big hop aroma up front.
Flavor: This is full bodied hopped flavor, finishing slightly citrus and smooth.
Overall: This is a well balanced beer. It has lots of hoppy flavor, but not overly bitter. The wheat base renders the beer very smooth. This is a very good wheat pale ale.

Citrus orange zest hoppy goodness in a beautiful bed of wheat tartness. Hoppy summer in a bottle. Give me another. I love this style and this is one of the many reasons why. wlajwl (6814) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 29, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2014 Aroma is grassy hops, wheat and lemon zest. The flavor is citrus, grassy hops, wheat/malts, lemons, mild sweetness and a spicy finish.
