COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With roots in two of today’s most popular brewing styles, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is the result of careful cultivation by our brewers and cellarmen. Their efforts to craft a hybrid yielded a bumper crop of flavor; a delightfully distinctive ale with the aroma of an IPA and the refreshing taste of a wheat beer.

very impressed with this beer. This is Boulevard at its finest, a great beer without overthinking it. Very citrusy on the nose with an excellent hoppy/wheaty finish, as sessionable as they come. To style, I think this is exactly what they were going for. I will be enjoying quite a few of these in this sitting

Whoa. Near perfection or perfection for this invented style. IMHO if one compared directly with other witbeers this simply takes the cake and is beautiful..great orange color...knew from first whiff. EXCELLENT. Perfect smoothe with just enough hops ,,,, but not too much towards ipa land. Prob should rate this a ten k. Just changed....wolfed down 3 of these quickly and have not done that since earlier days....great warm weather beer with Hop smell and taste...will seek out again soon.....

A near perfect beer in my opinion. Large mouth feel yet still has the precise bitterness of the hops. Pours a hazy yellow/gold. taste is of slightly bitter citrus and floral. Full palate leaving you wanting more. Will definitely be a repeat buy.

Pour: Cloudy golden color. Small white head that lasts Smell: Wheat, herbal & floral hops, bubblegum & yeast. Taste: Hop forward yet wheaty. Rich & creamy w/ nice carbonation! Dry, tart - yet sweet finish. An A beer! So many things could go wrong with a hoppy wheat- this 1 goes all right! LOL :)

12ounce bottle. Pours golden with a hint of orange. Pretty half inch head. Aroma light floral. Smooth chewy wheat feel yet enough hops sting to keep IPA heads interested. Robust enough for year round. However, ideal summer companion. Another cool, versatile and interesting beer from Boulevard!

I love this beer! Nice grapefruit and lemon aromas. Crisp hop bitterness lights up the tongue. Big citrusy flavors complement the tart and refreshing characteristics of the wheat. A great session beer that is not heavy but big on flavor.

Poured into a Boulevard Tulip. Not much lacing. Citrusy quality I look for in an IPA finishes with that Boulevard signature wheat taste. Great session beer!

Pours a cloudy bright yellow-gold with a thick white head. Aroma is all citrusy, grassy hops, very nice. Flavor is light and fresh, citrus and flower and grass again, with a nice, light wheat undertone. Palate is also light and fresh, not overly carbonated but still light enough to be refreshing. This is a truly excellent new style of beer that combines the very best of IPA and American wheat beer. One of the best and most refreshing summer beers available.

I’ve been to the grocery store many times hesitant to try this hybrid. I finally had to go for it. Pours a hazy golden color with hop bouquet. The flavor is rather refreshing, reminiscent of summery wheat beers with that IPA backbone. Delicious !
