2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a milky yellow-gold with a 2 finger, frothy white head. Aroma is full of citrus (smells very cascade-like) hops, a little pine, dusty wheat, fruity notes and a light bready note. Flavor is sweetish wheat and lemon up front, some mineral, bready yeast, sweet hay and leafy citrusy hops. Sweet grapefuit, dough and lemon to the finish. Much less hoppy in flavor than aroma, with very little bitterness. Palate is a little heavy for a 5.5% beer with such a crisp aroma and flavor, add the overly light (for this beer), a little bit of chalkiness and it really does a bit of a disservice to the other components, keeping the beer from being as light and refreshing as it should be. Pretty nice wheat ale all things considered, but the aroma really sets you up for an experience that the beer just doesn’t match otherwise.
Cloudy straw/gold color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of wheat, floral, & nice citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt, wheat, yeast, hops, and citrus (notably lemon zest); Crisp finish; Nice DiarmaidBHK (5896) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2017
Sampler at Boulevard Beer Hall. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Lots of lemony hops on the nose and tongue. Finished clean and without a ton of bitterness. This one's a real easy drinker. darthrader (6) - - AUG 7, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2017 Love this beer! Even though it says hoppy, it is not overly hoppy. Wheat comes through as well, making for a great tasting beer, one that I find myself going back to. ryrpat (387) - Illinois, USA - MAY 28, 2017
Very drinkable. Mellow wheat and mellow hops fit well together. Out of a bottle on a warm evening

Poured a slightly hazy straw golden with a dense white head which lingered......aroma is bread, earth, clove.....taste follows aroma. Very little hoped for hop taste, but a touch of clove finish. geologyguy (1661) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - DEC 16, 2016
Light jalapeno smell, taste is actually similar but not spicy only flavor, smooth with light diversity...At FS for Kala, Patrick and Brittani HH for their new positions LilBeerDoctor (4193) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of bready malt, peppery spices, floral hops, clove. Flavor of tangy fruits, floral notes, lemon, pale malt, clove, spices, orange zest. Decent beer, not too hoppy, but a little different than your standard wheat beer,

Bottle from West Side. Pours a clear deep straw gold with 2 fingers of foam. Light grain on the nose, grassy hops with some light lemon. Clean and crisp with active carbonation. Finish is quite dry with a bit of yeast. Has great Belgian dryness like a De La Senne beer in a way.
