Boulevard Amber Ale is an exceptionally well-balanced beer, complex yet thirst-quenching. American pale malt provides a firm foundation. English specialty malts impart a nutty sweetness, perfectly complemented by noble German hops. The deep coppery color holds the light, reflecting a ruddy glow, and the finish is clean, round, and delicious.

A tasty little amber with no distinguishing characteristics. Light caramel malts dominate the flavor with very light old world hops at the back of the swallow. Very much a "house ale" Finishes pretty clean not too sweet . This is a friendly glass that would be at home at almost any barbeque. I wouldnt seek this out nor would I turn my nose up at it. Its got that "on special at happy hour sign me up" but never getting my six pack money kind of appeal. .

Faint sweet aroma. Nice rich amber body with a medium cream head that faded quick, but left some decent lacing. The flavor is a medium hops, touch of citrus. Finishes with a slight bite & a little astringent. Overall, not bad, would drink again.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a deep amber color with a medium off white head. The nose has a bit of caramel, earth, and florals. The flavor follows suit with the front end having a nice bready and caramel sweetness backed up by a solid floral and earthy bitterness. Well balanced. Medium bodied with a short, even finish. Great session brews and a solid drinking amber.

Bottle. Pours a hazy red copper with fine white head. Good retention. Aroma is malty, caramel, and sweet. Flavor is mildly malty, fruity, with a nutty, caramel/toffee aftertaste. Moderate carbonation and medium body. A decent amber ale.

Moving out of KS rate-a-poolza. 12oz bottle poured into a .25L Corsendonk goblet. Bottled on the 356th day of 2012. Best by 05/20/13. The store where I bought this fridges their beers.

Pours with a small head. Color is a ruby/orange dark copper. As the bottle of this bottle conditioned beer is emptied into the glass a very pretty hazy is created. A pretty damn cool color. Aroma is malt heavy but a moderate hoppiness peaks through. One complaint is a bit of a weird estery character behind all that. Flavor is better, lacks the estery character and just an amberish malt and hoppy mix. Eh, its an amber.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Lightly sweet malts, a hint bready, and even lighter toasty notes, with some floral and earthy bitterness. relatively well balanced, nothing offensive. Solid dry finish. Not bad.
