COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Amber Ale is an exceptionally well-balanced beer, complex yet thirst-quenching. American pale malt provides a firm foundation. English specialty malts impart a nutty sweetness, perfectly complemented by noble German hops. The deep coppery color holds the light, reflecting a ruddy glow, and the finish is clean, round, and delicious.

Aroma is a sweet malt. Taste is a pretty bland bready malt. Overall pretty average.

Bottle. Floral apricot, tea-like malt aroma. Hazy amber with a large tan head, decent lacing. Nutty, slightly sweet malt flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Both aroma and flavor were a bit on the light side.

12oz bottle. Another winner from Boulevard. Kind of similar to the pale ale, I think. Little lacing on this one, tan head with deep copper coloration, translucent, almost clear. I agree with the "nutty" taste and sweet finish, great aftertaste, in fact. Top notch for the style.

A nice marzen style ale. The few I have had tasted a little bland from what I expected but may have been due to beer age

12 oz bottle: Appearance is a deep hazy brown with minimal head. Aroma is of slightly sweet malt. Taste is up front with a bit of caramel and loads of malt, but that’s it.

Poured a clear brown/amber with a slight head. Nose of very faint malt that followed in the mouth. Really very average.

Copper pour with a thin white head that hangs around as a film. Sweet caramel bready aroma. Tate is nutty with some caramel and bread. Slight bitterness in the finish. Pretty decent all around.

Aroma is malty and floral. Pours an amber orange color with a nice white head. Taste is sweet with malts, grain, and a little bit of citrus.

Pours between orange and copper with average head and lacing. Smell is yeast and bready caramel malts. Flavor is bready malt with smoother finish. Not much hops. Straight-to-the-point brew - good with light dinner fare, like pasta with chicken and mixed vegetables.
