Tap at Locus Publicus, Rotterdam. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is dry roasty malt, liqouice dry coffee. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, light sweet with a smooth rich dry smoky charcoal roasty hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Black with creamy head. Aroma and flavour have some dark roasted malts. Hints of chocolate. The aftertaste is very full and complex.

On tap. Clear dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has some fruity hops and roasted malts. Taste starts slightly sweet and fruity but gets toasted with medium bitterness on the finish. Also some nutty malts and grapefruity hops. Body is on the light side with medium carbonation.
