Pours black with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of roasted malts, chocolate, sweet malts, toffee, and light hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi creamy, slightly bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty tasty, drinkable Porter. ryanscourt (1518) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2015
Nice creamy light dark ale. I like the chocolaty body but finishes with a hop finish giving good balance and smoothness. Ivardo (43) - NORWAY - JUL 30, 2015
"Converting" from old excel scoresheet. So there is no comments on this beer. tfontana (1088) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 4, 2015
Bottle. Aroma is of roasted malts and yeasty dough. Appearance is opaque black with large 3 finger-width beige foamy head and mild lacing. Taste is medium sweet and light smoky bitterness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with surprisingly thin texture, average to lively carbonation and moderately long minimally bitter finish. Overall, a little bit thin and bitter for me for the style but enjoyable. Austin_Ripper (66) - Iowa, USA - JUL 1, 2015
Looks like your typical porter. Smells like a nice mix of coffee and chocolate with some almost burnt malts. Taste is a light chocolate with a short bitter finish. Honestly just picked this up because ive heard boulevard does good things, and they were not wrong.

Bottle. Black beer with an beige head. Roasted fruity chocolate aroma with vanilla notes. Roasted a bit smokey, dark fruits leather and chocolate flavour with some tar notes. beer_rookie (635) - Arkansas, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Pours a mahogony color. Thick tan head at start, had some weird pitting in the head. It’s cute. The head thins out considerably. Pretty decent lacing going on as I drink it.BrewBoxer (2657) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 16, 2015
Aroma is of chocolate and deep roasted coffee. There’s also dark roasted malt.
Taste is bitter, but that’s okay. I certainly taste the coffee and chocolate, but the dark malt is prominent. But it’s not just dark, it’s almost burnt malt. But it’s yummy. It’s bitter, but again, tasty.
Mouthfeel is deceiving. It’s bitter, but the mouthfeel is medium. It’s not very heavy at all. In coffee terms, it’s smooth but bold. It finishes pretty bitter. But that’s because of the style.
Overall, I really like this. There’s not much else to say about it. It’s what I expect from a porter, and maybe a little more.
Bottle. Pours a dark black color . Very fluffy foamy head. Taste is a hard malty flavor with a very poignant coffee flavor. Very good rumproasts (5573) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 11, 2015
bottle. Near black with one finger head. Quite a bit of chocolate malt. Very light on the roasted nature. Bitter hops in the finish.

Bottle. Nothing amazing, have had far better examples of English-style porters. Fairly thin in taste and mouthfeel, with some liquorice and chocolate. No big flavours that jump out at you, quite watery.
