Nice. Roasted malt aroma and a little bit of wood. Very dark brown with a tan foamy head. Good lacing. Roasted flavor that was somewhat dry. Earthy with a little bitterness. Average palate but not too filling. Well balanced and no alcohol presence.

Draft at Boothill. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruit and malt. Nice sweet taste of red berries, chocolate, dark caramelised malt, subtle licorice and cream. Good tasty beer.

Draught at Boothill Saloon, Amersfoort. Pitch black with a medium beige head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Good bitterness with subtle sweet tones. Roasted malts, pine, coffee and chocolate. Nice!

Tap at Locus Publicus, Rotterdam. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is dry roasty malt, liqouice dry coffee. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, light sweet with a smooth rich dry smoky charcoal roasty hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap. Clear dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has some fruity hops and roasted malts. Taste starts slightly sweet and fruity but gets toasted with medium bitterness on the finish. Also some nutty malts and grapefruity hops. Body is on the light side with medium carbonation. Really easy drinking and tasty porter.
