COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Ginger-Lemon Radler is a zesty, refreshing take on the tradition of mixing beer with soda or lemonade to create a light, thirst-quenching beverage ideal for warm weather. Radler (literally “cyclist,”) takes its name from active German sportsmen of a hundred years ago, but our version tastes just as good even if you do nothing more strenuous than lifting it to your lips.

Its ginger in the nose. Sweet lemon and ginger throughout. Clean crisp. A good change of pace.

Hazy straw. Light body, little flavor, watery mouthfeel, low heat and carbonation, short aftertaste. Crisp, slightly sweet , not bitter. Lemonade with lemon peel and a kick. Pleasant and refreshing but not beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I like this. I’m not normally a big fan of radlers but this is pretty good. Refreshing natural flavors excellent body and carbonation great finish.

Smell is quite good. Biting ginger, lemon tart, wheat, citrus and hard candy. Tart lemon profile, slight zest from the ginger but I wish it was more and sticky candy residue. Finishes sour. Body is smooth like a lemondrop.

12 oz. can BBD 08/29/17. Pours a thin, poorly retained light ivory head, over a cloudy yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is grapefruit, ginger, minimal malts, no hops........taste is grapefruit with mild sweet tones, mild ginger, minimal malts, no hops.....mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a highly refreshing almost soda pop in style, slightly alcoholic beverage. It is a very uninteresting beer style, but is good for re-hydration. BJCP 8/3/15/4/7

Can bought at Merchants. Aroma is sweet, ginger, lemon, wheat, that’s about it. Appearance is hazy, goldenrod, white head. Taste is ginger, lemon, citrus, sweet, wheat. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, ginger lemon and that fake sweet I come to expect from the style. Overall, it’s certainly better than any other Radler I’ve had.

Can, strong ginger flavor, extremely crushable, great pool beer. Good lemon flavors, lightly tart.

On tap, West Hills Flats & Taps. Hazy yellow, with a small ring of foam. You pretty much know what you’re getting here - lemonade aroma, and lots of it. Sweet, of course, but not overboard. Maybe a hint of baby aspirin, too. Tart finish.
