Boulevard Ginger-Lemon Radler is a zesty, refreshing take on the tradition of mixing beer with soda or lemonade to create a light, thirst-quenching beverage ideal for warm weather. Radler (literally cyclist,) takes its name from active German sportsmen of a hundred years ago, but our version tastes just as good even if you do nothing more strenuous than lifting it to your lips.

Beautiful hazy yellow color. Two to three finger white head. Aroma is all about the ginger; the smell comes through so strong to me it reminds me of Vicks vapor rub. Taste is a good balance between the lemon and ginger. Feels great in the mouth; perfect carbonation. Overall Im surprised by this beer in the most wonderful way. Fantastic.

On tap in Devilicious, Temecula California on 10th Feb 2017. Not usually a ginger in beer man, or a Radler/Shandy guy either, but my daughter ordered a pint and I had a few gulps and sips to rate it. Blonde, straw coloured body, thin white head. The name says it all really: its got loads of ginger and lemon flavours and aromas within its make up. Refreshing and highly carbonated, thought it OK, but glad I did not have a pint to drink.

Super hazy golden coloured body with honey highlights and a two centimetre tall off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of ginger, lemons, yeast, grain, sugars and way more freshly grated ginger - pungent. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong ginger flavour at first hits hard and strong, then shows a lemon freshness fairly well, along with some more mellow malts and yeast flavours and a bit of pungent honey sweetness on the tail end. Aftertaste is really all about the ginger, lemons and effervescence, which is still present. Overall, a good radler with way more flavour than the german varieties, and although it sort of tastes like a throat lozenge, it has an interesting flavour that is exactly what the can suggests. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 02-April-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 27-October-2016.

Pretty good as far as radlers go. Pours a hazy lemon straw yellow with carbonation like a soda. The taste is lemon, ginger, syrup and beer.

Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a murky bright yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tart ginger paste and lemonade. The flavor was strong ginger powder, ginger paste and lemonade. Long intense ginger finish. Medium body. Pretty tasty.

Poured out of a can, hazy yellow with a nice bit of head. Taste is heavy lemon, with no sign of beer. Not bad, but dont need more than one at a time.

Pours from can a cloudy straw yellow with thin white head that fizzes up then vanishes without a trace. Aroma is ginger at first, followed by lemon. On the palate, theres also a nice ginger flavor but its quickly balanced by lemon. Sort of a soda pop feel, but without much carbonation. This is very refreshing when cold, a good drink for a hot summers day. Otherwise, Im not sure that I wouldnt opt for a ginger-lemonade with a beer on the side.

Can of Radler. White head. You can smell the sweetness, lemon, and the ginger. Look like cloudy lemonade. Tastes fuzzy on the tongue with lemon being the main flavor. Overall this is a real nice summer beer and is way above average.
