COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like many American burgs, our town was once home to a number of small, regional breweries. As they disappeared, so too went the full-flavored but easy drinking classic American lager. Today, we salute these bygone breweries and revive their legacy with Boulevard Pilsner: 100% malt, real hop character, unpasteurized. It’s the taste of tradition.

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has a ton of grain in it with not too much else. The flavor is more of the same. I get some heavy grain notes as well as some sweet malt and light grass. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

OzarkElmo (319) - Poplar Bluff, Missouri, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Pours a medium gold with moderate white head. Taste is well balanced for a pilsener, with good finish. Above average and better than more mass-produced offerings.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with white head. Taste light, sweet, grain. I thought this was good. I will drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

kevinator (2226) - The Colony, Texas, USA - APR 25, 2014
Enjoyed this. Fine pale malt and slightly hoppy aroma. Golden color with a white fizzy head. Flavor was robust and full. Some fruity essence mixed in the grain followed by a hoppy finish. Carbonation was high and crisp but not distracting of the more subtle malt flavors. This is a good example of the way an American lager should be.

Best by: 25AUG11 A: Pours a light honey ale with less than a single finger of white foam which falls to a broken sheet of the same. No lace. S: Smells of honey, grain, maize, hints of tea-like hops. T: Slightly bitter, slightly sweet. Doesn’t have the grain profile of a really nice German Pils IMO. A little too sweet without any sharpness. M: Medium bodied (a little heavy for the style), sharp and high carb (good for the style). O: No better than avg IMO. Serving type: bottle 07-22-2011

Good clean taste. Nice pour, ok aroma. It’s a pilsner - what can I say? Drinkable, light, just enough flavor to get by. It’s decent.
