COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like many American burgs, our town was once home to a number of small, regional breweries. As they disappeared, so too went the full-flavored but easy drinking classic American lager. Today, we salute these bygone breweries and revive their legacy with Boulevard Pilsner: 100% malt, real hop character, unpasteurized. It’s the taste of tradition.

Bottled, from Spokane, WA. Clear golden, small head. Bready malt and grass greets me. Mid-dry with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Pleasantly relaxed with hay-like hops and balanced bitterness. Ah, the joy of quality pilseners in the summer!

355ml bottle. Golden pour. This just does not do it for me. This is grainy and harsh, big malt note that finishes with an astringent bitterness. I guess it isn’t a german or czech pils but an american styled one, if this is all an american beer was I’m glad it went extinct, I don’t like just grain flavor in a pilsener.

Bottle… Clear yellow lager with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Great retention. Spicy, white-peppery, pale grain aroma. Medium-bodied with zippy carbonation. The flavor is well-balanced and clean. Moderate sweetness and adequate bitterness. Short, crisp, clean, snappy finish. Thanks to my brother-in-law, Kevin, for giving up this brew!

Bottle @ home via jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a clear golden appearance with a white head. Grainy, herbal pils malty, pretty snappy, cracker aroma. Just a touch sweet, light vanilla, grassy, crisp, pils malty flavor. Moderate to high carbonation. Easy to drink but doesn’t blow me away.
