Pours hazy ruby-tinged mahogany into a tulip. Off-white head bubbles and quickly recedes to hug rim leaving scant lacing. Sour pit fruit aromas. Sharp and tart with cherry upfront turning to earth and brine in the lasting finish. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Bottle corked and caged, poured a nice light amber color, with aromas of light cherries, light booze, some funk, and a touch of leather. Flavors of a tart cherry dusted with some coco with some light booze injected. Not overly sour, not overly boozy, the perfect blend in my book. Glad I got this bottle in a trade. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Bottle:   Amber, a little fiery, moderate to large frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Tart nose, soft unripened fruity notes, fairly strong, funk, lacto, brett, all sorts of goodness.   A bit more muted on the tongue, tart, bretty, with unripened fruit nose.   The barrel aging is minor, albeit comes out a bit more as it warms.   Finish is dry, with unripened fruit, and brett.   Pretty simple, but clean, enjoyable... not sure if its worth the $20 price tag tho. Boulevard said they named this "Love Child" because of all the time, love and care they put into this beer. It truly shows. This is one of the best sours I have had. If you can get a bottle, do so. Now. RobertDale (6470) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - AUG 23, 2012
750 ml. bottle. Pours a hazy brown with a small white head. Aroma of fruits, malt, wood, and wine. Taste is tart cherries, citrus, wood, wine, and some chocolate. Sour mainly, but enough sweetness to make it truly enjoyable.

Bottle thanks Gene. Clear copper pour white head. Aroma is really weird tons of bourbon with brett, quite leathery, musk. Taste is better, still sweet but with a nice tartness. Palate is heavy, difficultly drinkable. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Bottle. Pours a deep, hazy orange to copper with minimal white head. Aroma is pronounced tart sour. Taste, acetic sour with some raspberry and cherry notes. The fruit comes through but I can’t tell if they really used any. Seems to be the case. Very dry and some shoe leather notes. Overall, ok American sour that is somewhat all over the place. illidurit (2338) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Bottle shared at Woodshop 7. Pours dark orange. Boring boozy aroma. Flavor is better, with tangerines and oranges, salty alcohol, light fusel, acetic and leathery. rader58 (908) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - AUG 16, 2012
750ml bottle. Pours an opaque dark copper with burnt orange hues. Aroma of wine, fruit, vanilla, whiskey, wood, leather. Flavor is lemon juice, cherry juice, olive, wine. It is definitely sour. unclemike (3121) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - AUG 16, 2012
A cloudy brown beer with a quickly dissipating beige head. The aroma is wood, vanilla, cherry, and citrus. The flavor is wood and vanilla up front with a very nice tart cherry that intensifies in the finish. Quite sour but also quite delicious.
