750 ml bottle to tulip (shared by tastybeer). Looks good; a cloudy amberish brown with foamy off-white head. Smells solid; tart and funky with notes of cherry. Tastes like it smells with some tannic notes. Good beer! Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Bottle, meh, just a glass of apple vinegar, no sweetness or anything, one dimensional and very acetic brystmar (1314) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 27, 2013
Thanks Matt! Hazy, ruby red color; minimal head/lace. alexsdad06 (11222) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - AUG 13, 2013
Oaky as hell. So much barrel; borders on too much barrel. Dark cherries. Fruity blend with oak, soured grain, yeast. I prefer #3, I still love this.
750 ml bottle at large tasting. Pours a deep copper color with a slight haze and a medium sized frothy off white head. The aroma and flavor had tart fruits, cherry, lemony citrus, oak, mild sweetness, light funk with a touch of musty grape vinous character. The sour character was more prominent on the flavor. Decent. Pours a hazy brownish red with little to no head. Aroma of tart cherries, raspberries, oak, vanilla and funk. Flavor of tart cherry pie, moderate sourness, other berries and lactic acid.

Nice funky sour, very pucker worthy, can taste the oak. Even after a year pours beautiful dark amber. crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Very nice one, ample sourness, godo funk, oak, a nicely dry beer, up their with the 3. freeofthoughts (688) - Raytown, Missouri, USA - JUN 15, 2013
One year bottle pours burnt orange amber with a rim of khaki fizz. The aroma is funky and tart with some grainy sweetness. The flavor starts with a robust barrel note and warming grain but it quickly melds into a lemony tart sour with a very light Belgian must. It has a nice fitting sweetness that masks the intensity of the tartness and brings out some of the light fruitiness. It is low carbonation and finishes with a lingering tart citrus, light grapefruit and more so lemon, with smooth amber malts and a touch of barrel. tmoreau (4734) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Shared 750 ml. bottle after sampling #3. Poured to snifters with a deeper, hazed orangy hue, a bubbly layer of off white head foam, and spotty cling to the lacing. The nose was light, but cleaner yeasty funk than #3, so no horse blanket, but more fruitiness, sourness, and vinous/grape qualities. More spritz & effervescence was noticed, and the finish was pleasantly dry. madvike (3305) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Bottle shared by jmagnus87...thanks Josh! - Pours hazy roasy amber with a ring of light tan head. Nose is cherries and a light breadiness. Fairly tart. Taste is pretty tart with cherries, a touch of vinegar, some stone fruit, and bready malt. A bit cheesy. Well-carbonated with a fluffy body.
