Sample at Falling Rock Beer Tasting with Dr. Bill on 10/13/2012. This beer pours a cloudy orange color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of grapes and bready malt. Medium body with a vinous character and notes of crackery malt and touches of hops. The finish is fruity with an earthy malt aftertaste. Good overall. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2013

"Ho-lee-crap. Did NOT expect this! A wonderful; marriage of tart funky fruit and bourbon. Carbonation high, but just right for the style. Dances on your tongue. Dark and light fruit, wine-like sourness, and some vanilla bourbon sweetness and a hint of pepper. What a delicious brew. Didn’t know Boulevard could do wild like this."

Bottle @ Dan’s house. Thanks Steven! Hazy dark orange appearance with a small off white head. Mild whiskey, spicy cinnamon, vanilla, oaky, red fruity, tart aroma. Tart cherry, tart berry, woody, leather/tannin, vanilla, quite sour, dull whiskey flavor. I’m quite surprised that I enjoyed it that much.
