COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At 100+ IBUs, the hoppiest beer we’ve brewed to date. Pretty nervy for a bunch of Midwesterners.

Hops: Mosaic, Cascade, Amarillo, Citra, Centennial

Slightly hazy, pale gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy white head. Aroma is nice, lots of citrus and mango and passion fruit heavy tropical fruit, some spiciness and a touch of floral and pine, biscuit a little caramel and toasty, dough, yeasty bread. Flavor is loaded with biscuit, toast, sweet citrus, pine, tea, melon and passion fruit up front, then some bitter citrus, caramel, bread, under ripe melon, mango and some spicy, fruity and lemony-citrus hops to the finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, and juicy to chewy entry, light to medium strength, blanketing and sharp carbonation and dry, maybe slightly astringent finish. I really dig this stuff. It’s loaded with my favorite hop notes and has a nice mouthfeel that might end up a little on the astringent side, but for an IPA with 5.6% and this much hop character I can live with "mmmaaaaybe slightly astringent" for sure. Please, oh please put this in 6-packs for a decent price, Boulevard. I promise it will sell... to me at the very least.

Bottle:   Orangish golden, faint haze, large pillowy white head, nice lacing.   Soft sweet citrus peel bitterness on the nose.   Lots of citrus peel bitterness on the tongue.   Could use a smidgen more sweetness.   Its even a little dry.   Body and mouthfeel are dry.   Citrus peel bitterness on the finish.   Fairly good, solid, but nothing out of the ordinary.   Good example tho.

Aroma bread, resin, floral, grass, citrus, Appearance golden, hazy, cloudy, white foam, Taste medium bitterness, light sweetness, Palate medium body, average carbonation, Overall I wish I would have had this beer fresh. Got the 12 pack home and saw the date was almost a month old. Not happy with my distributor. I love the smell but the taste did not compare. Still not a bad beer that I think fresh would be something that I would suggest to a friend.

YigSvartka (449) - Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 4, 2015
Translucent gold with many bubbles and a small white head with good retention. Pleasantly robust aroma consisting of citrus, spruce, mango, pineapple, and grass. Very nice ipa. Mid bodied and quite smooth. The malt is definitely supplanted by the hops, but it is still quite balanced. Tastes exactly as it smells with an expected bitter finish.

No lie ’bout the hops. Mostly pine and grass with citrus and a bitter kick at the end. Straight from the "coast" of the Missouri River.

12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has citrus, pine, and tropical fruits. Taste is mostly an earthy, near herbal bitterness that transforms into a fruity sweetness. Medium body and medium carbonation.
