COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts imparts a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Bottle thanks to trade with gregwilsonstl! Pours a chill hazed golden orange with fluffy off-white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of bready pale malts and a nice fruity hop back end. Taste follows, clean and easy with good balance. Nothing exciting but really well done.

12 ounce bottle thanks to phaleslu. The beer is a clear copper color with a white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma has soft pine notes and some herbal grassy, and green tea. Taste has moderate bitterness, but sufficient sweetness to balance it out. Medium body and carbonation.

12oz bottle, thanks to phaleslu. Was surprised that I’d never rated this one. Best by 05/18/16. Mostly clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent bits and ropes of lace. Medium body with a lighter, kind of soft carbonation. Mild slick. Moderate sweet taste, lighter bitter. Caramel bready malt mostly, light peppery hop. Touch of citrus. Kind of a dry edge to the taste. Nice to enjoy with some leftover pizza, but an alright pale ale on it’s own. Kind of a malty and sweet pale ale.

A local favorite I've had several times, yet have not gotten around to rating until now. Thick beige head with a cloudy amber body. Aroma is hops with pine. Obviously hoppy favor with slight citrus and a mildly bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pour into pint glass from Whole Foods. Aroma is mild yeast and malts. Appearance is hazy orange red with nice sparkle and massive 3 finger width head and nice lacing. Taste is sweet malts with some yeast and bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with average texture, soft carbonation and bitter/sweet mix finish. Overall, weak aroma but otherwise is reasonably solid.

Robe blonde et limpide, peu de mousse. Arômes biscuit, pain et écorce d’agrumes. Goût d’orange amère, résine, herbal. Final fruits jaunes. Assez longue en bouche. Une bonne pale ale.

Pours a nice cloudy orange amber color. About two fingers head. Rocky retention and some lacing.

Aroma is a little unusual, I’ll call it bright citrus. Very fresh, sweet citrus. Almost like a lemonade sweet citrus. I smell some malts. It’s also a little doughy.

Taste is not as bitter as most of the style. Yes, there’s hops, but more citrus and floral than bitter. Plenty of toasted malts, and they balance the hops well. I would say it leans toward sweet. The citrus comes in at the finish. It’s not overwhelming, it’s there, and it’s nice.

Mouthfeel is pretty dry. It is super smooth, super drinkable. Just the right bitterness.

Overall, this is a really good APA. It’s clean, fresh, and so pleasant. Good session beer. It’s not as bold and hop forward as most, but it’s well rounded and man, they really hit a home run here. Well, maybe not a home run, but no less than a triple. Try it!
