COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts imparts a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

triplehopped (65) - - JAN 2, 2013
Pours a rich orange amber, slightly hazy, with a light white head (dissipated quickly). The rich scent of hops creates a sweet floral, citrus aroma. Medium in sweetness and a light bitterness makes for a satisfying taste on the tongue. Satisfactory to the palate with a medium body, average in carbonation with a lingering presence in the mouth. A standard setting Pale Ale.

Sampler at Boulevard Beer Hall. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Lots of caramel malt on the nose and tongue along with a smaller citrus notes. Finished clean. A little too muted for my tastes

Meh all the way around. Smells like a watered down pale ale. I do like the hue. Taste is bland. Wouldn’t have again unless someone gave me one early in the morning.

Amber color with mild fruity taste. The original Boulevard. I like how they even will tell you its not their best, but its their first. Almost 20 years ago i had my first, all these years later i can appreciate this one.

Pours a light copper, golden with a pillowy head which lingers......aroma of sweet bread.....taste is crisp but sweet fruitiness up front, very slight biscuit, finishing with a clean easy bitterness. Refreshing.

21 Dec 2016, tap at Boulevard. Light gold, clear, no bubbles. Nose is sweet golden malt and mild grassy Ned body and fizzy. Sweet malt, bitter slightly skunky/grassy. Decent.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a strongly carbonated transparent orange brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The aroma was hoppy malty and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium hoppy aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of breads and hops. Not one that I would likely drink again.

Smooth and not overly hopped so has good balance overall. Refreshing and worth the purchase and calories. Easy to drink and especially good after yard work.
